Every morning, I take 10-15 quiet minutes while I sit peacefully to sip my coffee. I use this time to harness my feelings toward anything that’s taking a toll on me emotionally and physically, then move my mind along to what’s important to accomplish throughout the day. Last, I make a conscious intention to be love and light to others, and offer a lion’s share of gratitude to the universe.
This last step is absolutely critical, more than all the others, to having a successful day. Fear, sadness, anger, and other unsavory thoughts and feelings cannot exist in the brain at the same time as gratitude. When you lead a grateful existence, you’re prime to be love and light to others.
